Ketchum, one of the world’s leading communications firms, and Daggerwing Group, a management consultancy, announced the merger of Ketchum’s leadership and change management unit, Ketchum Change, with Daggerwing Group. Both agencies are part of Omnicom Group’s DAS Group of Companies. The merger is effective Jan. 1, 2017 and the integrated entity will be known as Daggerwing Group.

Roper Technologies, Inc announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Deltek in an all cash transaction valued at $2.8 billion. Deltek is the leading global provider of software and information solutions for project-based businesses serving niche markets, including government contractors and professional services firms.

GoDaddy Inc, a large cloud platform dedicated to small, independent ventures, announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Host Europe Group for €1.69 billion (US$1.79 billion), including €605 million paid to the selling shareholders and €1.08 billion in assumed net debt. The transaction has been approved by the GoDaddy board of directors and HEG’s shareholders and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2017, subject to customary regulatory and other closing requirements.
