Problems punters run into while using crypto betting websites

One of the big problems in the online gambling industry is that most websites don’t do anything to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Consequently, punters think that every gambling company is the same, which is not the case. The good thing is that there are some brands known for the fact that they offer digital currencies. So, when choosing from all of the crypto betting sites, you will see that they offer various payment solutions, good games, and tons of other perks. No wonder these sites are becoming the go-to option for punters worldwide.

Even though the betting sites that offer digital currencies are popular among new and experienced online bettors, there are several problems that users have to take into account before signing up. Some of the issues are not that common anymore, but many of the things you are about to see are still active.

Some of the betting sites that offer digital currencies may be unable to get a permit from the gambling commission in your country

There are a couple of things that every online gambling platform should have, and a license is one of them. Since some bookies and casinos want to accept new users as soon as they create their sites, they start operating without having a license. Most users know that they will get a permit anyway, so they don’t pay much attention to their choices.

Although the standard betting brands usually receive a license, the companies that offer digital currencies often have problems. Since cryptocurrencies are not regulated in many jurisdictions, certain gambling commissions are reluctant to give a permit to such sites. Even though there are loads of benefits to using these options for online betting, there are also many potential problems.

The biggest one is related to money laundering and the fact that the regular can’t keep track of the crypto transactions. Since deposits and withdrawals are encrypted, the given regular won’t be able to investigate any individual deposits and withdrawals. What’s more, the gambling commission can’t assist users if their money gets stolen.

Lack of regular payment solutions

Although most people who want to use cryptocurrency gambling websites will always make deposits in BTC, ETH, Tron, Litecoin, or any other options, there are exceptions. This is especially true when it comes down to withdrawals, which is one of the reasons why some of the top-tier sites provide standard deposit and withdrawal methods.

E-wallets are the most popular variation by far because these options also offer safe transactions. Things like PayPal, Neteller, and Skrill are just among the many digital wallets you may find while using such a site.

Some companies also provide standard debit card/credit card payments, bank transfers, vouchers, cheques, mobile payments, and more. Sadly, you will find all of the things mentioned above only if you choose some of your country’s top crypto betting sites. Most places don’t provide anything outside of digital currencies.

Mobile apps that are not working properly

Since some of the crypto betting sites are relatively new to the online betting industry, they can rarely afford to have a gambling application. Most of them create a mobile website because it is cheaper, and people won’t need to download and install any files.

Even though mobile sites offer enough options to live up to most punters’ expectations, gamblers prefer having access to real apps. Hence, even the cryptocurrency casinos and bookies create apps for different mobile apps, such as iOS, Android, Amazon, etc.

Unfortunately, only a few cryptocurrency betting brands offer good apps. Some brands may allow mobile betting fans to get a file on your device, but they won’t provide half of the things available to desktop clients. There are also cases where the app doesn’t offer good graphics, it does not provide any bonuses, and it even crashes.

In other words, you will probably have to use a mobile site if you decide to focus on a cryptocurrency platform and want to bet on the go.

Some crypto platforms don’t have enough bonuses

Most of the promotions for online betting require a deposit. It seems like bookies and casinos use special technology for their advertisements because people who read the T&C of most offers will see that they only work if users make a deposit using specific payment solutions.

Sadly, most offers won’t work for cryptocurrency punters, even if they use a platform that only focuses on those options. Most crypto bookies and casinos may offer a couple of proposals, but they’re not as good as those available on regular sites.

Fortunately, there are some exceptions, so you must check the bonus section prior to registering.
