The world’s largest electronics company by revenue says it hopes to continue investments in mobile healthcare and B2B areas, as Samsung believes there will be continued growth in the sector.
As ZDNet reports, Samsung wrote in its third-quarter corporate disclosure filed to the Korea Exchange: “We’ll be a company that provides numerous values to customers based on our best research and development infrastructure. We’ll continue on with our investments on mobile healthcare and B2B sector.”
Samsung is working hard to develop B2B relationships. It has formed partnerships with 24 companies, including sportswear giant Nike and US-based healthcare company Aetna in deals inked earlier this month.
Earlier this month, Samsung will work with German software giant SAP to develop mobile solutions for companies.
The two firms “plan to provide business-to-business (B2B) services in the retail, petrochemical, finance and health care sectors by developing corporate solutions such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, a type of business management software,” according to this news report.
In a UK exclusive, Samsung unveiled its first B2B-only tablet, available through distributor Exertis. In this article from CBR, we learn that “Exertis will offer the tablet with specific sector proposals to enhance the end user experience, across lone workers, field-based operators, the health sector and the education arena.”
