B2B News for Thursday, June 16, 2022: 5G+ Ready to Deploy, Third Gravity Acquisition

In case current conditions have you confused, a recession is being predicted imminently. As a result, offers of employment to new graduates — especially foreign students who can’t fight back — and people whose skills are so in demand, they are contractually obligated to give a three month notice before changing jobs, are seeing their offers rescinded. At the same time, this economic retraction in the tech sector is seeing an increase in mergers and acquisitions, as well as massive funding announcements.

Did you notice your mobile data transmission speed get a little faster yesterday? Bell said the network readiness of 5G+ was ready to be deployed across the country on its wireless network.

Bell secured the prime 3500 MHz spectrum in urban and rural markets across the country in 2021. The move added high-capacity airwaves critical to the evolution of Bell 5G on its network. They are now poised to deploy 3500 MHz wireless spectrum and start the next phase of 5G advancement.

“Today’s announcement reinforces Bell’s commitment to provide the best networks to Canadian consumers and businesses so they can do more of what they love,” said Stephen Howe, CTIO of Bell. “I’m thrilled that 5G+ is here and with this release, we’ll take the country’s top-ranked 5G service to new heights with faster mobile data speeds. It’s a significant milestone in the evolution of next generation communications in Canada, and we’re proud to lead the way.”
