Trade shows are a brilliant place to get your company, product, and service out there, but it is also worth bearing in mind that that is the sole purpose of one. This means you are going to be a very little fish in a big sea.

There are many reasons why you should bring your business to a trade show, the main one being the exposure your business will get. Often, trade shows are a great chance for customers to meet those from “behind the scenes” and experience one on one customer care face to face, which will more often than not strengthen their loyalty to you and your business. 

Take Employees That Want to Be There

The last thing you want to do is take an employee that does not want to be there. They might be excellent at computer work, but dread talking to customers face to face. Pick those who want to go and who have the kind of personality that you would want to represent the face of your brand. Even better if they are the face of your brand in social media and other marketing, too, as they will be recognized!

Make Sure You Have Great Merch

You want to give people a reason to be enticed over to your stall, which means making it look rad and also having some exclusive stuff on sale. Some great merch will be a big hit for those who already love your brand, so why not offer something exclusive to the trade show? Items such as custom embroidered beanies offer something cute and comfortable to your customers and will also give you excellent advertising, especially over the colder months. 

Do not forget to throw in some freebies, too – they are a riteof passage at trade shows, so do not leave your stall visitors disappointed.

Create a Competition 

Want people to be drawn to your stall but also compelled to come back? Why not create a competition your customers can do. It is up to you what you decide will be the game to win, but make sure you have a worthwhile prize that creates a lot of buzz. You can also get emails this way and ask those who have entered to check back on your social media to see who the winner is! This is a great way to get customers really involved with your brand while giving something back to them.
