BetMGM has announced their new promotional poker tournaments to run through 23rd to 28th November across three states. The End Boss November Online Series will feature seven tournaments in each of the three states and end with a main event during the stated timeline. A total of over $750,000 will be available combined over the competitions. Learn more about BetMGM PA in detail here where online poker action is in full throttle in the USA’s largest state in terms of population to legalise poker online.

Darren Elias who is a veteran on the professional poker circuit, with four WPT titles along with several in the cash finishes at the WSOP, is the Brand Ambassador and helped to create the ‘End Boss’ format, whilst he will also play in NJ’s version of the tournament.

Each main event winner will earn themselves a seat in a special New Year Knockout PKO event, along with their prize money and the title of ‘End Boss’. In the New Jersey event, anyone that knocks out Darren Elias will win a two night, all expenses paid stay at the beautiful Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. The other two states involved are Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Schedule

All three states are running at the same schedule, although times may vary slightly from state to state depending on circumstances. The planned schedule for the seven events are as follows:

There have been similar events running from month to month on BetMGM but this will be the first to feature Darren Elias as the Brand Ambassador and also the ‘End Boss’ setup. Darren Elias was made brand ambassador in September of this year.

Bet MGM’s Director of Poker, Luke Staudenmaier stated that he was delighted to introduce their new series to their players and working with a poker legend such as Darren to create this competition with all its players in mind, from their most competitive to their recreational players.

Comparisons to Recent Series

Recent series that have been run on BetMGM have been slightly larger than their latest form with their September series being a 10 event series but the prize money this time around is definitely on the higher side of their average guarantees. $21,000 was their average guarantee for the September instalment but the November series number is over 50% greater with an average of just under $33,000.

For those of you with smaller budgets are also in luck as well as there will be a series of qualifiers and satellite events into the ‘End Boss’ series with buy-ins as small as $5. There will also be an invite for anyone that takes part in the November series to join a freeroll event in December for the chance to win a seat to the New Year PKO special event.

The series is only available to those who are located in one of the three participating states and is accessible through Partypoker, BetMGM and Borgata, although not all those brands are active in all the states.Check out more poker newsfrom one of the UK’s most popular tabloids.
