TRUCKS: Nesco will acquire Custom Truck One Source for $1.475 billion US. Both companies are leading providers of specialized truck and heavy equipment rentals, sales and aftermarket parts and service. The acquisition will serve growing infrastructure end-markets, including transmission and distribution, the 5G revolution build-out as well as rail and other national infrastructure initiatives. The news follows several other logics and infrastructure mergers and acquisitions in recent months.

CLICKS: London head-quartered brand management and legal services firm MDR has acquired CLICK! Licensing Asia. The acquisition expands upon MDR Brand Management’s presence in Asia and follows the recent opening of three offices across India. The firm has 25 offices around the world.

TREES: A recent acquisition in the global lumber market to supply builders and developers in the B2B space comes at a time of global shortages of materials in the B2C sector.
Late last week US Lumber Group, LLC announced it would acquire the Canadian company Alexandria Moulding. The American company, based in Atlanta, is a two-step distributor of specialty building products in the Eastern and Midwestern United States. Alexandria Moulding, based in Alexandria, Ontario, Canada, is a manufacturer and two-step distributor of mouldings and accessories across Canada and the northern US. The sale follows several similar deals in lumber supply chains around the world at the end of November.
