In less than a decade, Web Summit has grown from a 400 attendee event in Dublin to “one of the biggest tech conferences in the world” according to The Guardian. Web Summit will still be going ahead in an online capacity, with dates this year now set for December 2-4. Web Summit 2020 will host up to 100,000 attendees, exhibitors and speakers on our own proprietary online conference platform, which was used to run our first online event, Collision from Home. The format of the parts of the event taking place in Lisbon will be decided and announced in early October, subject to health protocols.
For existing Web Summit ticket holders, your ticket has been updated. It will now grant full access to the online event this year, and in addition will be valid to attend Web Summit 2021.
