Video: How to create rallying cries to gain B2B victories

Last updated on July 14th, 2015 at 03:32 pm

In the first of several video reports Jason Forrest (sales expert, author) will publish on B2Bnn, find out how B2B leaders can inspire their teams with rallying cries.

After identifying roadblocks to success, we must rally a team around the solutions if we want to move forward. Steve Jobs said, “My model for business is The Beatles. They were four guys who kept each other’s kind of negative tendencies in check. They balanced each other and the total was greater than the sum of the parts. That’s how I see business. Great things in business are never done by one person, they’re done by a team of people.”

After identifying the solutions that will lead to the success we seek, the most important thing we can as leaders do is inspire the entire team to work toward those solutions. No matter how solid the goals, each individual must understand and own the “why” in order to be inspired to take personal ownership over initiatives.

Creating rallying cries around goals and themes is one of the most effective ways to create unity and ownership in the team and achieve our goals.
