A newly updated list of the most loyal brands include Air Canada, Apple, AT&T, Facebook, Domino’s, Google and many more.
According to Brand Keys’ 19th Annual Customer Loyalty Engagement Index (CLEI), their index measures brands whose drivers come closest to meeting (or even exceeding) those of their respective category. The number-one company “is always the one whose customers will demonstrate the highest levels of engagement and loyalty over the next 12 to 18 months,” Brand Keys’ site says.
We aren’t too surprised to see major firms such as Apple and Facebook and AT&T topping the list. But this index also saw a significant number of new company mentions, hinting that consumers are out prowling for new brands that might better meet their expectations. The 36 new brands making the list for the first time include Microsoft Surface, Under Armour, Air Canada, Skull Candy, Atkin’s, Google Flights, Reddit, Nature’s Valley, Kashi, Anthropologie, Forever 21, WestJet, Lyft, and Footlocker.
For the 2015 survey, 36,605 consumers, 18 to 65 years of age from the nine US Census Regions, self-selected the categories in which they are consumers, and the brands for which they are customers. Canadian customers were included in this index for the first time.
